Veterans’ Park Commission

The Veterans’ Memorial Park Commission was established in 1950 by County Ordinance No. 167. The Commission consists of two members of the County Board of Supervisors and one representative from each of the three veterans organizations of the county. The duties of the Commission are to supervise and control the development, maintenance and management of the park and to have control over the disposition and expenditures of funds received in connection with the park.
The Veterans’ Memorial Park Commission meets the first Monday of every month from February through September at 7:00 pm. Currently the meetings are held in the San Benito County Board Chambers at 481 Fourth Street, Hollister.
(Agendas are posted by the Thursday before each Monday meeting. Each month the previous month’s minutes will be posted upon approval by the Commission.)
*There will be no meetings in the month of September. The next scheduled meeting is October 5, 2009.
